About

Through creative design research, an unusual understanding of business needs for a designer, and strong facilitation skills, I bridge the gab between design, operations, and product to build service businesses.

I am a design & product leader with 14 years of experience specializing in operationally complex businesses.

Currently, I am the founder and CEO of Haven Headache & Migraine Center, a health-tech startup. I learned my craft of building great health tech companies at Hinge Health, Alto Pharmacy, and Collective Health.

I bridge the gap between design, operations, product, and engineering to build and improve services or digital products through a user-centered mindset that customers, users, and investors love.

Everything I do starts with deep empathy for all the users of a service and my partners who build them. I enjoy working on deeply complex problems, helping to set a vision, and enabling teams to unite under one vision.

My superpower is to rapidly understand unfamiliar territories and tease out the crux of the situation to identify the real problems. I honed this ability while consulting and studying service, interaction, and industrial design in academic and real-world experiences.

While my home discipline is design, I flow seamlessly throughout specialties and don't keep to preconceived notions of what "is" and "isn't" my role. Instead, I take a holistic approach to what needs to happen to push projects and products forward.

Over my career, I have gained experience in design, product management, and business development roles. I love helping grow impactful, high-performing teams through empathy, coaching, and career pathing.

In my free time, I take my pup, Parker Posey, anywhere they allow him. I spend as much time as I can on my bike and skiing in the mountains. In the last three years, I have supported AIDS/LifeCycle, raising over $40k for community health. I love to improv cook, spend time behind a pottery wheel, woodworking, enjoying live music, and traveling the world while getting photos of international water-main covers.
